Today, we're getting together for some more relaxing content. Having received several testimonials from petites in the community who won't leave their running boards alone, I wanted to share some inspiring ideas with you. Here are a few different decorating and customization ideas to help you make this everyday object your own and make it fit in with your interior. I can't wait to show you what you can do with it!
To customize our step, we chose Ikea's Bekväm because it's easy to find, simple to assemble and very affordable.
For the wallpaper, we're collaborating with
Adeline Klam's boutique. We'll be using one of the unique Japanese papers she offers. I invite you to discover the rest and find ideas of your own on :

Minimalist inspiration
In reaction to consumerism, the minimalist movement was born in the 60s. It promotes a pared-down lifestyle and advocates a return to the essentials, with the functional above all else. In interior design, minimalism translates into a search for space and fluidity. So-called "neutral" colors are preferred: white, black, gray... Color is not forbidden, but must be used sparingly. Natural materials are essential, such as wood (ideal for steps), stone and natural-fiber fabrics.
Floral" inspiration
This style spread throughout Europe in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, affecting a wide range of fields, from architecture to furniture in particular. Often highly colorful, it is a real eye-catcher and adds pep to any room. However, it can also be easily combined with more sober colors for a natural, natural look. It's up to you to choose the outfit you'd like to give your step.

Geometric inspiration
The appeal of geometric motifs on furniture dates back to Ancient Greece, notably on ceramic vases. Today, squares, circThe, diamonds, triangThe and rectangThe symbolize modern, vibrant decoration. Colored or not, in accumulation or not, the geometric style offers an infinite variety of variations. Very graphic and timeThes (depending on the choice of colors), this style is a sure bet for standing out from the crowd without risking getting bored of your step in 2 years' time.
