Wetsuits are not for petites !
The monochrome
Marked size
We prefer suits with a marked waistline (and as high-waisted as possible) - whether elasticated or enhanced with a belt. It' s important to mark your waistline to define your silhouette. This makes your legs appear longer and your femininity more subtle.
V-neckline
As with the other two tips, it's all about optical illusion. In addition to being elegant, a V-neckline allows you to extend your neckline. By extension, it continues to visually elongate the silhouette, unlike a rounder neckline.
Look inspirations
To prove that the jumpsuit is the piece you need, here are a few outfit ideas. We used our Juliette jumpsuit which, thanks to its lengths adapted to petites, could help you avoid many problems with proportions!Chic for going to work
Casual for strolling
The combination of white and black works perfectly to contrast and redefine the silhouette. A short white denim jacket on a black silhouette highlights a marked waistline. Don't hesitate to style your hair in a high ponytail to add a few extra centimetres!
Rock for a night out
Once again, monochrome takes precedence here with a total black outfit . And don't forget the contrasting accessories to complete the outfit.
Elegant for dining out
A second "black & white" outfit with a short faux fur jacket that adds volume and verticality. We finish with a pair of pumps and matching accessories, a perfect combination of everything we've just seen.
Bohemia to unwind
For this outfit, we're breaking up the silhouette, but in the right way. It's all a question of balance: here, we've added a more oversized piece to the top, and it works, because our Juliette jumpsuit has fitted/tapered legs, for an effect that won't pack you in. Similarly, if you choose a wider piece for the bottom, opt for a close-fitting top.
We hope we've opened your eyes to the misconception that jumpsuits are not suitable for women of petite size! Remember, the most important thing is to wear clothes you like and feel good in.
