Maintaining your viscose
Viscose is a fabric we love for its fluidity, softness and breathability. Follow our advice to preserve it.
Wash
Always wash your garments inside out to preserve their shine, in cold or lukewarm water not exceeding 20°, immersing the garment in the detergent.
Gently dab stains with a damp cloth and Marseille soap. Avoid the use of aggressive products which could damage the viscose. Rinse with clear, cold water.
For machine washing, choose a program that respects the garment, such as the delicate 30° program. To preserve fabric fibers as much as possible, use a washing net.
Caution: too high a temperature can deform your garment.
Getting back into shape
To prevent the viscose from deforming or shrinking, iron the garment while still damp.
Using a low-temperature iron, smooth and stretch the viscose back to its original shape.
Dry flat
Viscose does not tolerate heat. Drying in the open air or in a well-ventilated room, away from radiators, is recommended.
Ironing
Viscose requires great delicacy. Set your iron to "silk" or "low temperature" mode, and always iron your garment inside out.
To ensure a perfect finish, iron the garment while it's still damp, using a damp cloth.
