Taking care of your jeans
All our tips for preserving the color and finish of your jeans.
Soak dark jeans in cold water with a little white vinegar to fix the color and prevent fading.

Detach rather than wash
Washing gives jeans a patina and lightens them. To preserve color, avoid washing. Remove stains by gently patting with a mild soap such as Marseille soap, then rinse with cold water.
Washing with respect
Always prefer hand-washing, but here are the 5 steps to protect your jeans as much as possible during machine washing.
1. Always wash, dry and iron inside out.
2. Do not overload the machine, to reduce friction and wear.
3. Wash at 30°C maximum and with little detergent to avoid color bleeding.
4. Avoid heavy spinning, which can be brutal for the fabric of your jeans (600 rpm maximum).
5. Don't tumble-dry, hang your jeans in the open air, but keep them out of the sun, which can alter their color.
Don't hesitate to rotate your jeans to space out washes as much as possible.
Preserving finishes
We strongly recommend that you don't pull on the belt loops when putting on your jeans (or any other pants for that matter). The tugging you're about to impose on them is likely to cause them to give way and puncture your jeans.
The same applies to pockets: avoid overloading them and pulling on them.
If your zipper is seized, take some dry soap and rub it over the teeth (back and front of the zipper). The problem will be solved simply and effectively.
